About Evergreen Rigging

After twelve years managing the rig shop for West Marine in Seattle, I started Evergreen Rigging because I wanted a more personal relationship with boat owners. Whether you are interested in sailing on our local lakes, preparing your boat for offshore cruising, fixing up a boat you’ve just bought, or upgrading for racing, I look forward to talking with you about your rigging needs.

I have relationships with boatyards throughout the Puget Sound, and am also able to come to your slip to save you the hassle and expense of bringing your boat to a yard or hauling out. My goal is to get you out sailing quickly and safely.

About Me

Sailing has always been my passion- as I kid, I learned to sail with my dad in small lakes in the Midwest, and now I’m teaching my own kids to sail in the Northwest. I've been a boat owner for over 20 years and cruised throughout the Northwest and Mexico. Fifteen years ago, I became a rigger, and I feel fortunate that what was once just a hobby is now my daily work.
